In 2016 my Grandad sadly passed away, having suffered from Parkinson's for around the last 10 years of his life. Parkinson's is a degenerative disorder of the nervous system, and it had a huge impact on his life and the rest of my family.

We're now 7 years on and there's still no cure. It's more important to me than ever to keep supporting this charity - their work on researching treatments, funding specialist care and helpline advisors and finding a cure is invaluable.

I'm taking part in the 2024 London Marathon to fundraise for Parkinson's UK - I really appreciate any donations to this worthy cause, no matter how big or small, as they can help others going through similar situations now. Thank you!
